Jill joined Gateway Financial in 1998, bringing with her nearly 20 years of prior experience in underwriting and client service at a major life insurance carrier. As Gateway’s Director of Underwriting, she is an essential member of the team, playing a critical strategic role in securing the most favorable underwriting terms for the firm’s clients. Her deep industry knowledge and longstanding relationships are invaluable to the success of both the firm and its clients.

Jill’s exceptional negotiation skills allow her to effectively advocate for clients, even in the most complex or challenging situations. She leverages her comprehensive understanding of underwriting guidelines, risk factors, and carrier appetites to consistently obtain the most competitive possible offers from insurance providers.

Her calculated approach to navigating the insurance marketplace is especially valuable when large cases approach industry capacity thresholds. Her methodologies enable Gateway to maximize coverage at the lowest possible cost while avoiding the pitfalls of reinsurance gridlock. Throughout each engagement, Jill also oversees coordination and submission of all required carrier documentation, ensuring the underwriting process remains seamless, accurate, and client focused.

A Pittsburgh native, Jill resides in Collier Twp. with Bill, her husband of 49 years. Jill enjoys spending time with her family.
